In the next 50
years, growth will happen in the smaller rural communities of Northern California. The owners of Blue Oak Land and Development
believe we all share the responsibility of doing proper planning to protect our environment. Development should not occur
in areas where flooding is an issue. Giving back to the community is a primary goal of any project in which Blue Oak Land
is involved.
Because all undeveloped land left in California falls under the designation as agricultural land, we
must carefully choose those areas which are to be developed. Agricultural lands fall into categories as follows: dry land
farming, grazing, timber, vineyards, orchards, row crops, and rice production. All vacant land is agricultural land.
